University Library Book Club - The House in the Cerulean Sea In-Person
Please join the Library Ambassadors and Prose and Con on Thursday, April 17th from 12pm-1pm in Library LPC1 (across from the upstairs bathrooms) to discuss the bestselling novel The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune.
Linus Baker is a by-the-book case worker in the Department in Charge of Magical Youth. He's tasked with determining whether six dangerous magical children are likely to bring about the end of the world. Arthur Parnassus is the master of the orphanage. He would do anything to keep the children safe, even if it means the world will burn. And his secrets will come to light. The House in the Cerulean Sea is an enchanting love story, masterfully told, about the profound experience of discovering an unlikely family in an unexpected place―and realizing that family is yours.
Whether you read the whole book, parts of it, or just wish to chat about your current reads, kindly consider attending - all are welcome!
This event counts as a Campus Experience for New and Transfer Students Engaged Learning Points. Copies of the book are on reserve at the Rider University Library Circulation Desk. Pizza and soda will also be provided.
We hope to see you there!
